AstaGuru is an illustrated art auction house & gallery at Fort, Mumbai. Owned by Mr. Vickram Sethi, the gallery is crammed between two other buildings in the busy Kala Ghoda road and rise two storeys high. Within the art gallery, every nook and corner are filled with various art pieces mostly done by internationally acclaimed artists like M F Husain, Manjit Bawa, Ramkinkar Baij, Nandalal Bose, Ganesh Pyne, K Laxma Goud, Meera Mukherjee, Badri Narayan, Paritosh Sen, António Xavier Trindade.
The whitewashed walls provide a more spacious appearance to the narrow structure and better showcase the vibrant pieces of artwork. AstaGuru auction gallery mostly comprise of canvases that depict the country’s modern and contemporary Indian art. However, the gallery also carries vintage timepieces & antique sculptures.
