OIP Condenser Bushings by Yash Highvoltage Ltd.

Oil Impregnated Paper (OIP) Condenser Bushings are the most commonly used bushings in the high voltage transmission industry worldwide even today. They are made from Kraft paper that has been tightly wound around a conductor, with intermediate layers of aluminum foils providing a finely graded capacitive arrangement. The moisture is then removed by drying and vacuuming the paper, and the paper is then carefully impregnated with processed transformer oil.
