RIP/RIS CONDENSER BUSHINGS

DRY TYPE Resin Impregnated Paper (RIP) / Resin Impregnated Synthetic (RIS) Condenser Bushings are oil-free transformer bushings that are renowned for their groundbreaking performance. The insulation is built directly on the conductor and is made of premium crepe paper wound on the conductor in the case of RIP bushings or premium synthetic film in the case of RIS bushings. For the best electromagnetic field control, conductive grading layers are embedded during the paper/synthetic wrapping process to create a capacitive core. The wound core is then impregnated with special grade electrical application resins following a process of heating and vacuuming to create a completely dry RIP/RIS active part solution.
