DRY TYPE Resin Impregnated Paper (RIP)/Resin Impregnated Synthetic (RIS) Condenser Bushings are oil-free transformer bushings that are renowned for their groundbreaking performance. The insulation is built directly on the conductor in the case of RIP bushings, or consists of special grade synthetic film in the case of RIS bushings. In order to create the best electromagnetic field control, conductive grading layers are embedded during the paper/synthetic wrapping process to form a capacitive core. Additionally, the wound core is impregnated with special grade electrical application resins after a process of heat and vacuum application to create a completely dry RIP/RIS active part solution.
